We call for artists to produce, exhibit, and perform in our project space in 2025 over a five-week period. Solo artists, groups and curators are welcome to apply. Our increasing interest lies in collaborative duo and group shows. We provide curatorial support, technical assistance, documentation, and both printed and digital promotion.
Vorfluter is a transdisciplinary project space for contemporary art. We offer space and support for the production and exploration of new work, with a focus on site-specific installations and audiovisual works. It is the collaboration with artists that inspires and motivates us to run the „Vorfluter“ as a project space.
Initially rented as a studio for the three founders, the space evolved into a project space hosting regular exhibitions. During renovations, the found qualities and materials were further developed into a coherent structure of distinct rooms. A street-facing gallery and a multipurpose basement, accessible by a spiral staircase, can be thought of as an entity designed for comprehensive exhibitions or used individually with their specific qualities. The third room, a courtyard-facing studio, provides the Vorfluter team with studio space where projects are developed and workshops take place.
If you apply for funding, we are happy to assist with the necessary documents such as invitation letters or concept texts describing the project space.
